Terminal Manager:
We are looking for a Terminal Manager for each of our Denver, Salt Lake City, Bozeman and Whitefish MT branches. We are a full-service moving company that can handle any move, whether it be across town, across the nation, or around the globe. We pride ourselves on providing best-in-class customer service to all of our customers! We have been in the business for decades and continue to expand.
The lines of business include local and interstate household goods, office and industrial, commercial warehousing, and final mile delivery. In addition to residential moves, we help Corporate clients with relocating their employees, office moves, and commercial warehouse services.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the entire branch including operations, safety and office/facility management as well as Sales and Customer Service. Act as a leader, mentor and coach to attract and retain talent.
- Manage approximately 150 employees, 120,000 square foot warehouse and 9 mm in revenue.
- Create a strong culture and environment where team members strive to do their best at all times.
- Awareness of competitor and market activity, providing feedback to the company leadership team.
- Manage profitability and key metrics. Communicate performance with the leadership team.
- Provide best-in-class customer service and ensure team members can fulfill company expectations.
- Increase employee engagement, development of career paths, training and retaining staff.
- Responsible for achieving branch sales and profitability goals.
- Identify and develop processes and systems to resolve service delivery issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Management experience within the moving & storage/transportation industry is required with a similar or equal size branch with multiple lines of business.
- Strong customer and sales focus to build corporate and commercial business.
- Strong knowledge of general operations strategies and activities, including an understanding of financial statements and the budgeting process.
- Experience with Lean principles and Six Sigma is helpful.
- PC literacy at the medium to high level, including experience using MS Office products.
