An AV-rated transactional and litigation firm in the Chicago area, experiencing tremendous growth, is seeking a Transactional Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience with corporate law, M&A, private equity, commercial lending, contract review, and real estate transactions. Experience handling trademark and copyright matters are beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Possess a working knowledge and understanding of corporate transactional work in M&A, private equity, commercial real estate, commercial loan transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, compliance, and contract reviews.
- Draft corporate rotation documents and other supporting documentation for transactions, including disclosure.
Requirements:
- JD from an ABA-approved school
- Must be licensed in Illinois
- 4 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative, exercise professional discretion, and independent judgment.
- Possess solid written and verbal communication skills, including presenting legal issues clearly and concisely.
- Requires superb attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
