Overview:
Granite Peak Multifamily is an organization devoted to the management of multifamily real estate. Our mission is to manage and improve multifamily real estate properties to positively impact the lives of our residents as well as the communities in which we operate while ensuring solid financial performance the ownership groups who own the properties we manage. Granite Peak Multifamily is responsible for the stewardship of housing units located in several western states.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Leasing Agent reports directly to the Director of Operations and is fundamentally responsible for preleasing and leasing units at multiple properties across the Western United States. The Leasing Agent is also responsible for keeping our related advertising up to date. The position is full-time and there is a strong opportunity for growth. Based in Bozeman, Montana, this position may require infrequent travel to property locations. It is a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
-Assist in the oversight of the showing of available apartment units to prospective residents
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units (infrequent)
- Assist prospective tenants with the leasing process, including application completion and lease signing
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants regarding property features, rental rates, and availability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all available properties, including floor plans, amenities, and pricing
- Adhere to Fair Housing regulations and laws when interacting with prospective tenants
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with prospective tenants
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 housing programs
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track maintenance requests and work orders
- Prepare lease agreements and other necessary documents for new tenants
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current tenants to ensure satisfaction and lease renewals
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to leasing activities
- Perform other tasks, as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and laws
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer software for contract preparation, customer relationship management, and file management
-AppFolio or other property management software experience
