Grace Auto Sales is growing fast and looking to develop a BDC department to help support the busy sales team. Unit sales are up, customer traffic has increased and developing a new Business Development Center (BDC) will help us keep up with the record pace and demand.
A Business Development Performance Manager can help us bring our business to the next level. This key role will require the skills necessary for onboarding, training, performance review and reporting of KPIs. Effective daily operation and management of the CRM software is Key to success.
Automotive Business Development Performance Director Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with recruiting, onboarding, reporting
- Manage CRM Software customer lead flow. Adjust CRM flow to optimize sales followup. Identify and resolve glitches and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform regular audits and test leads on third party sites.
- Record and listen to customer phone calls and utilize recordings for training
- Audit and report Sales BDC production numbers (Appointments set, appointment shown, sold leads, contact percentage, outbound productivity, etc. and compare against desired KPI goals.
- Regularly monitor and analyze KPI metrics which include but not limited to call volume, conversion rates, lead generation customer feedback for the purpose of improvement and opportunity to implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that the established BDC processes are being followed at all times.
- Weekly meetings with leadership team to provide reports and present areas of opportunity and overall recommendations.
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly feedback and reports to the management team that align with the established KPIs as well as the status of the productivity of the sales BDC department.
The Business Development Performance Manager is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and distributing information from both inbound and outbound calls, to include but not limited to inquiries on certain vehicles, internet leads, and providing general information. Essential Duties as following;
- Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
- Receive inbound calls with a goal to establish a firm appointment date and time from the prospect guest to visit Grace Auto Sales.
- Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from guests, and providing general or related vehicle sales information.
- Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our guests.
- Gather and track all guest data as directed; accurately enter into CRM database.
- Utilize detailed scripts provided by the dealership in addressing guest inquiries and concerns to meet the dealership’s objectives.
- Work in close proximity with the Sales team and other BDC Representatives in a team-based environment.
- Facilitate timely follow up on all internet leads as directed by management and/or procedures.
- Strictly adhere to all company directions related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
- Partner with the leadership team on activities in the dealership and the call center. Communicate with the dealership management or front-line employees on behalf of our guests.
- Participate in departmental and dealership meetings; other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience running or working in a successful Automotive Sales BDC
- Ability to assist in creating processes in the form of process maps, charts and other supporting documents.
- Exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills via phone, one-on-one and online are a must.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coach people.
- Assist in developing and executing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of BDC team members, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and sales techniques.
- Mastering all training materials provided by Grace Auto Sales, including scripts and word-tracks.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate with dealership managment effectively and in a professional manner.
- Proficient in basic math and writing skills.
- Proven customer service track record or obvious desire to provide next level customer service.
- Comfortable in a high paced, competitive environment (all while actually ENJOYING your job!!!).
- Pass drug testing, background investigation/interview and pre-employment assessment.
