SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager, Population Health Quality Improvement is responsible for providing continuous quality improvement, project management, performance oversight, and ambulatory quality outcomes reporting of population health and value-based care programs including MIPS and other quality improvement contracts. The director is accountable for the oversight of thorough, timely, ongoing/recurring reporting processes and the correlating data sharing with organizational stakeholders. The Sr. Manager, Population Health Quality Improvement will lead all aspects of the GA-AIDE Directed Payment program with leaders across clinical operations, information technology, business, and clinical intelligence and finance. This leader will also partner closely with ambulatory leaders including nursing, physician, and administrative leadership to ensure quality and performance metrics are clearly defined and necessary workflows, interventions, and standard work practices are in place and executed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Develop a communication plan and materials to demonstrate the impact of GA-AIDE to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure timely distribution of information to staff for quality improvement and key stakeholders for ongoing governance and monitoring
- Provide supervision and technical guidance to the Population Health Quality Analyst and lead ambulatory quality data governance activities.
- Monitor capital and operating expenses associated with GA-AIDE program implementation.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
- Play an active role in the development of metrics, data, tools and workflows to monitor key performance indicators and quality improvement outcomes
- Support operations team members with performance management and program evaluation efforts including ongoing quality improvement efforts
- Serve a subject matter expert on CMS’ Value-Based Programs
DATA
- Responsible for the accurate and timely development of the GA-AIDE annual report, including outcome measures performance
- Stay abreast of NCQA, CMS quality measure updates and implement changes in clinical applications and reporting systems as necessary
LEADERSHIP
- Support the health system to accurately measure performance under existing value-based arrangements, understand key drivers, and identify new opportunities for value-based care. This will include collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to design the right metrics and analyses, as well as developing insights that will inform critical decisions by senior leadership.
- Lead the GA-AIDE Executive Committee, monitor key activities of working groups, and coordinate activities with outside advisors
- Coordinate resources across business and clinical intelligence, EPIC clinical applications to produce ongoing reporting for GA-AIDE quality metrics
- Present information to key stakeholders including medical directors, practice directors, and administrative leaders

EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Policy, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Five (6) years of experience in project management, and progressive leadership in a healthcare setting.
Two (3) – three (4) years of healthcare quality improvement and healthcare data analytics
Preferred:
SKILLS/ CERTIFICATIONS:
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) – preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) - preferred
