Position Details:The Data Analyst internship is a 10-week program based in our Lake Forest office. You will partner with team members on functionality that has an impact to the business. Throughout the summer, there will be plenty of time for networking, professional development, and social events. At the end of the internship, you will present your work to senior leadership.
The internship is paid, and free housing is provided in Lake Forest.
You Will:You will contribute your skills to a specific team and work with your intern peers on additional projects. Through your work and other development opportunities, you will grow your technical skills and understand how our technology stack empowers our business to serve our customers.
Gather data to support technical recommendations to address problems
Perform EDA to analyze big data to derive meaningful insights
Use probabilistic and statistical ML to understand data distribution
Use data visualization techniques to uncover possible solutions.
Write user stories and ensure integrity of stories across projects
Collaborate on a team operating in an Agile development context
Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
1-3 years of experience with Python, Pandas, and SQL.
Good understanding of ML modeling and Clustering techniques.
Preferably purse a Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems related field.
Expected graduation with a master's degree between Winter 2024 - Spring 2025.
