What you will be doing:
- This position is responsible for maintaining the system updates including but not limited to contract/PO creation, pricing updates, new vendor adds, etc.
- Work with the buyer and suppliers to resolve financial issues such as price discrepancies & invoicing issues
- Work with suppliers on projects related to pricing issues, debit/credit memos, and effectivity dates
- Monitor and ensure purchasing contracts are up to date
- Support This position is responsible for supporting the department buyers
- Work with the buyer and suppliers to resolve financial issues such as price discrepancies & invoicing issues
- Work with team members to complete Purchasing Master Data Sheet updates
- Work with suppliers on projects related to pricing issues, debit/credit memos, and effectivity dates
- Monitor and ensure purchasing contracts are up to date
- Support the team on ASTRAS events and lead any required updates
- Support the buyers through purchase order pricing updates and maintenance
- Manage and collect required data for new supplier setups
- Additional responsibilities as required
- Ad Hoc reports as needeed
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in Purchasing Operational Systems
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills
- Detailed oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Data driven individual
- Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience required
- Experience with JBA and/or SAP preferred with additional training provided
- Experience working with large diverse teams
