Revenue Audit

We are looking for a meticulous Daily Auditor to join our on- site team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting processes. As an Auditor, you will be instrumental in verifying the completeness and correctness of our daily audit work. This includes reconciling receivables, posting payments, and maintaining precise financial records. We seek an individual with strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Review transaction codes used in financial transactions and determine their respective GL account mappings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of transaction codes and their associated GL accounts.
• Collaborate with accounting team to ensure consistency and accuracy in mapping transaction codes.
• Update mapping tables or configurations as needed, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and procedures.
• Sort and verify the accuracy of audit work, focusing on receivables aspects such as reconciling daily revenues, payments, and adjustments.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and promptly report any discrepancies to the Controller.
• Utilize internal and external systems to reconcile credit card receivables and cash deposits, ensuring payments and deposits are received and resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare daily revenue and management reports.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve cash overages and shortages.
• Verify and formulate commission payment schedules.
• Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent experience preferably in hotel accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years financial experience (hospitality preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel.
