Description:
Performs any combination of tasks in the classroom to assist teaching staff of Early Head Start and Pre-K Head Start programs. These tasks include checking students in and out daily, playground monitor, running errands, making photocopies and any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree.
Qualifications:
Have a strong desire to work with young children and the families. Must be able to keep all information strictly confidential. Must have a bi-annual physical exam including an initial TB Test. Must clear background investigation for minimum standards of Character & Suitability for employment under the Indian Child Protection & Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990, Pub 101-630.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
