Responsibilities

Actively participate in key Finance Department processes including annual budget, quarterly forecast, monthly accounting close, and establishment of manufacturing costing rates and standard product cost.

Collaborate with key managers to develop inputs (sales, margins, COGS, mfg. variances, etc.) for the annual budget and quarterly forecast.

Collaborate with key managers to develop metrics for measuring performance.

Perform investment analysis of new business opportunities and proposed capital expenditures.

Provide review, insight, training, and guidance to Finance Department of wholly-owned subsidiaries (China).

Support key processes outside of the finance department. For example support the quoting process by providing inputs including manufacturing costing rates and providing analysis of expected margins.

The financial analyst will provide timely, accurate, and in-depth analysis to enhance the decision-making ability of key managers from team leaders to senior management.

Use pertinent concepts including NPV/DCF, variable costing/contribution margin, etc. to perform regular and ad hoc analysis.
Skills
-
3-5 years of experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

Cost Accounting Experience will be necessary

Experience in a manufacturing organization - automotive preferred

Knowledge of general and standard cost accounting principles

Proficient use of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
