Grand River Health proudly serves residents of Western Colorado and beyond. We are a not-for-profit Special Tax District, formed by the citizens of Western Garfield County in 1961 to serve the area’s health care needs. Our main hospital campus is located in the picturesque Rifle, Colorado with twenty-five beds providing a wide range of services, along with a long-term care center and a satellite campus. BASIC FUNCTION: 

Our CT Technologists are responsible for providing computed tomography imaging, performing a variety of imaging procedures and patient care services at defined levels to patients of all ages. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check and prepares patients prior to CT Study
• Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
• Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures.
• Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates actively in Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Radiological Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and other various committee/meetings as assigned.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Radiography.
• Associate Degree of applied science in Radiologic Technology and/or Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences from an AMA approved school preferred.
• ARRT (CT) license required.
• Must have current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
• Prefer one year of professional radiology experience in a hospital patient care setting.

SALARY INFORMATION:

$38.32 - $61.86 hourly, dependent on experience
