Job Description: Grand Slam Tennis Tours (www.grandslamtennistours.com) is a global leader in luxury tourism to major tennis events, taking thousands of travelers to all four grand slams and other select events around the world annually. Through its partnership with Topnotch Management, Grand Slam Tennis Tours clients have access to can’t-buy opportunities with top professional players and events around the world. We have 10 employees working out of our main office in Stowe, VT, and while company culture does not require experience or interest in tennis, collectively we’re a group of people who enjoy living and working in VT and traveling to beautiful locations throughout the year.
The Marketing Manager position is a key role in the Grand Slam Tennis Tours office and will be responsible for several strategic areas of the business. The very core of our business is the execution of amazing tour operations around the world, and as such this role will guide the success of our business while on tour, and the efficacy of our marketing operations at home. The ideal candidate will be a creative, diligent worker with growth aspirations in sports, travel and events. The position is based in Stowe, VT and there will be an expectation of 8 weeks travel throughout the year.
Marketing Manager Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a digital-first marketing calendar across multiple platforms
- Responsible for running advertising campaigns across paid search and social channels
- Management of website content and maintenance, creation of landing pages, and development of content for online platforms
- Management of email campaigns
- Constantly evaluate marketing metrics and KPIs to improve the performance of marketing strategies
- Comfortable working within data management and CRM programs
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience running paid search and social media campaigns
- Familiarity and aptitude for digital communication tools such as MailChimp, Trello, Wordpress, etc.
- Strong Excel and database management skills
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to write appropriate marketing copy across various platforms
- Strong verbal communication abilities, comfortable developing relationships across partners, clients and colleagues
- Not just an ability, but an interest in working with others
- Available to travel 2 plus months a year to professional tennis events in a working capacity
- Hard working team player
Preferred but not mandatory:
- Experience in photography or videography
- Wordpress and Laravel
- Tennis playing or coaching background
- Foreign language skills
- Demonstrated understanding of SEO best practices
- Ability to travel foreign and domestically mandatory.
- Experience in sports/event marketing a plus.
- Bachelors degree, any field.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, 45-70K range. Competitive benefits, 401k, flexible time-off, travel benefits
