JOB DESCRIPTION & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Position Title: RECEPTIONIST
SUMMARY:
Cheerfully greets residents, visitors, and staff members via the telephone or in person and helps to ensure that their needs are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner. Must be able to read, write, speak clearly and follow oral and written instructions in English. High School diploma or equivalent.
Administrative, supervisory, computers and bookkeeping experience required, healthcare experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must meet the requirements indicated on the Employee Documentation Grid.
Must successfully complete training listed on the Required Training Grid and any additional training as required by
Federal, State and local requirements.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be aware of and understand the needs of the elderly. Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or physical condition of residents. Must be thoroughly familiar with all Community policies procedures. Must be familiar with current licensure rules and regulations governing the community. Must have the ability to effectively understand and utilize community electronic programs as well as perform basic computer skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting, primarily in an office environment.
Responsible for keeping a clean and neat work area.
