The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the human resources department including onboarding and offboarding, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. The HR Coordinator performs data entry and maintenance for the entire organization as related to employee records. The HR Coordinator upholds strict confidentiality and integrity standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Coordinate onboarding tasks for incoming hires, work with hiring managers to gather pre-boarding information, notify internal teams of incoming hires, schedule required new-hire trainings, track activities, and coordinate completion with new hires and hiring teams

· Launch and track completion of required trainings and orientations for all new hires

· Answer new hires’ questions, and verify all pre-hire information and paperwork is completed accurately and saved in the personnel files

· Work across departments to ensure incoming hires have what they need on their first day (equipment, systems access, etc.)

· Assist with new hire orientations as needed

· Assist with various recruiting activities including maintaining updating job postings across multiple recruiting sites

· Answer employee questions pertaining to HR processes and policies

· Assist the HR Team with various duties and tasks, providing timely, accurate, and effective administrative support

· Assist with maintaining and organizing electronic personnel and HR files, and periodically audit the files

· Maintain and organize company wardrobe, notify appropriate personnel of low quantities in a timely manner.

· Assist the HR team with employee recognition programs

· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

· One year of Human Resources or Recruiting experience is highly desired or any of other equivalent education and work experience.

· Previous experience in casino gaming or hospitality industry is a plus.

· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Prior experience with Paylocity, or other comparable HRIS systems, considered a plus.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Requires strong time management, critical thinking skills, attention to detail and excellent follow through.

· Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Requires a strong and motivated team-oriented approach and positive attitude.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.

· Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Eagerness and willingness to learn and grow in the role

· Interest in learning other components of HR

· Able to learn and absorb new technologies quickly

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hr

Job Type: Full-time
