Position Summary : The
Shipping / Warehouse Manager
is responsible for the oversight and management of the delivery / shipping areas of Graphcom and overseeing the warehouse and finished goods materials.
The Shipping Manager coordinates deliveries and manages the schedule.Essential Functions : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsible for the overall function of the Shipping Department including supervisory responsibilities, training, and assigning work to direct reports.
Responsible for the supervision and oversight of shipping and warehouse operations. This includes oversight of the departmental staff and setting quality and quantity expectations for the following positions, including :

Maintains professional relationships with internal staff, attends daily production meetings and launch meetings, as necessary.
Responsible for the oversight and annual certification and recordkeeping of the OSHA Powered Industrial Truck program at Graphcom’s main location.
Maintains training records, updates policies, and oversees regular and routine maintenance, as needed.Develop and coordinate timely, efficient delivery schedules to meet the delivery needs of the client.
Determine proper packing requirements to ensure the safe handling of products and meeting customer specifications. Oversees the packaging of all material according to established procedures.
Oversees the loading of trucks and ensures this is conducted in a safe manner according to deadlines.Responsible for the oversight of Graphcom’s warehouse and moving of materials, product, and finished goods.
Organize and maintain all supplies for the department, re-ordering as needed.Coordinate and maintain a rigid vehicle maintenance program for all Graphcom vehicles.
Manages contracts with the third-party leasing company and works with third-party for scheduled maintenance and repairs.Works with Human Resources department to coordinate and complete ongoing delivery driver training and testing to include distracted driving course, straight and medium duty truck training, and annual Motor Vehicle Record reporting.
Responsible for ensuring that safety procedures in the plant including, but not limited to, Lock-out-tag-out, Hazard Communication, OSHA rules and regulations, and injury reporting procedures are adhered to by all employees in their charge.
Works with the Traffic Manager, Printing & Mailing to make production related recommendations to streamline project deadlines.
Provides Director of Operations, Printing & Mailing with equipment and budget recommendations.Provides the Purchasing Manager with monthly inventory of items for departments in their charge.
Maintains the highest level of security and confidentiality as defined by company policy.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Printing & Mailing and / or President / CEO.
Minimum Job Requirements : High School Diploma preferred, and one to three years related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Computer literateProficient in Microsoft Office applications.Previous supervisory / lead experience strongly preferred.Train the Trainer Certificate for Powered Industrial Trucks.
Complete annual driver safety classes

driving, aggressive driving, safety for medium / light duty trucks).Valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License with no moving violations for previous three years.
Requires the ability to obtain a forklift operator's license and obtain a Medical Certification Card.Complete all required training courses upon hire and annually thereafter.
