What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Billing Coordinator position at Gravie?
Hi, we’re Gravie, and we are building the health plan of the future. For the past few decades, the health insurance industry has evolved to serve the needs of employers, insurance companies, brokers, and (sometimes) doctors and hospitals. Our goal is to create a health plan that people can love.
We’re looking for a Temporary Billing Coordinator with an operational focus to join the Finance Team in our corporate office in Minneapolis. This person will play a key role on the team by providing high quality administrative support and by auditing financial data to maintain accuracy. This will start as a two-month assignment with the option to extend or convert to permanent roles.
You will:
● Data entry into the Gravie’s Claim System
● Respond to financial inquiries in a timely manner
● Coordinate the setup of Billing Rates, Financial Configuration, and Invoices for Clients in Gravie’s claim system
● Find and correct payment inconsistencies and errors as it relates to new group financial set up
● Coordinate with other Operation teams to make sure Gravie’s clients are set up properly in Gravie’s systems
● Contribute to various Financial Operations projects as needed
● Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative and outcome oriented.
You bring:
● 1 year of relevant work experience
● Strong mathematics and administrative skills
● Strong customer service skills
● Problem-solving skills
● Proficient in Excel and technology (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, etc.)
● Ability to set priorities and with excellent time management skills
● Enjoy working independently with clear deadlines and deliverables
● Ability to work in cross functional teams to provide solutions
Competitive pay is standard. Our unique benefits program is the gravy, i.e., the special sauce that sets our compensation package apart. In addition to standard benefits, Gravie’s package includes alternative medicine coverage, flexible PTO, 16 weeks paid parental leave, paid holidays, cell phone reimbursement, education reimbursement, and 1 week of paid paw-ternity leave just to name a few.
Where permitted by applicable law, candidates must be fully vaccinated or be willing to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by date of hire to be considered for a job at Gravie.
