We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant in our Lexington, Kentucky headquarters.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
- Prepare and record entries into accounting software system, including job cost allocations, journal entries and cash receipts
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts including accounts for international and joint venture companies
- Manage online treasury product and cash balances daily
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Review checks for signature
- Coordinate with external auditors in financial statement audit and special audit functions
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for functions performed
- Other duties may be assigned
Who we want… (Requirements)
A bachelors’ degree in accounting/finance/business and three (3) years of experience in financial accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel.
Construction job costing and CMIC experience a plus.
Must be physically present in the Lexington office. Potential for hybrid work schedule.
