*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The EMT will provide in clinic, hands on care to our patient population. This job is based directly in our urgent care facility so no EMS travel.
Responsibilities
- Must be available for 10 hour shifts from 8am-6pm
- Rotating Weekends, No Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or Easter.
- Greet patients and provide instructions to all visitors in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the readiness of the urgent care clinical rooms
- Perform specified clinic tasks and adhere to established policies and procedures
- Determine and collect each patient’s medical history and chief complaint
- Assist the medical provider as required
- Provide overall support for the provider and medical operations
- Obtain vital signs
- Obtain and document patient history
- Understand and enforce standard healthcare regulatory requirements
- Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions
- Assure HIPAA and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance
- Other medical assisting skills to help provide patient care
