Summary Directs the activities of the Plant Services Department and provides administrative support to the Operations Leader in our Carpentersville Facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Acts as liaison between corporate Human Resources and facility associates.
- Provides executive administrative support to Operations Leader.
- Manages the contract labor program; reviews and approves contract labor invoices.
- Prepare Quality documents and maintain records.
- Create Quality forms as needed.
- Record minutes at facility leadership, staff, safety, and Quality meetings.
- Manages outside service providers.
- Manages associate locker and smock assignment process.
- Conducts orientation for new hires.
- Administers corporate benefit policies such as Worker's Compensation and FMLA.
- Coordinates the associate performance review process; tracks and submits completed forms to corporate Human Resources; advises Plant Leadership of late reviews
- Maintains files on associate disciplinary and corrective actions, sharing information with corporate Human Resources.
- Communicates policy and procedure changes to Supervisors and insures that all Supervisors are aware of company policies and procedures and are provided with updated information for leadership handbooks.
- Manage the Time & Attendance function for the facility and release to Human Resources/Payroll on a timely basis.
- Set up meetings and other on-site events.
- Plans and coordinates facility parties and events.
- Selects and coordinates with vendors for catered meetings, meals and other events.
- Coordinates and conducts associate vision-testing program.
- Assists Corporate Human Resources with special projects.
- Oversees team responsible for stockroom, facility cleaning and purchasing functions
- In absence of Operations Leader direct all administrative functions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
