Sales Administrator - Salina, KS
Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a Sales Administrator to coordinate sales activities and assist in the sale of Great Plains products.
This role works Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound sales calls to convert calls into sales.
- Respond to sales representatives and territory managers’ telephone, mail, and in-person inquiries.
- Provide project tracking and coordinate for Learning Management System with direction from Training Manager.
- Provide coordination and scheduling of all support activities associated with regional events, dealer meetings, and Gold Medallion training.
- Coordinate division meetings and schedule appropriate conference rooms and equipment.
- Support conference room scheduling for all GPM requests through IT portal.
- Manage all trade show contracts, scheduling of support equipment, expenses training and reporting at the direction of the Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
- Maintain lists of sales representatives and territory managers.
- Supervise outbound leads and follow-up calls to sales representatives and territory managers to evaluate leads and sell products and services.
- Manage and communicate Demo program status and completion with Territory Managers and Credit Department.
- Create quarterly sales programs at direction of VP Sales & Marketing plus posting and communication to all dealers and sales team.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with sales representatives and territory managers.
- Develop and revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide other division-level support at direction of Division President.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of Great Plains Manufacturing products
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or equipment sales-based environment
- Ability work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately and concisely draft and edit all forms of business communication
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to customers and territory managers
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; minimum 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
