General Summary:
As the Division Manager you’ll oversee the Sales team and Merchandising team of GAMA Wholesale and Distribution Center, one of the leading C-Store retailers. You’ll also manage Member Relations in providing solutions to store problems, answers to warehouse issues, and mediating vendor concerns to happy resolutions. In this role, you’ll be the enthusiastic coach motivating your team members to learn, strive for improvement and feel a real sense of pride & ownership in achieving their goals. From recruiting and staffing to driving daily sales performance, you’ll assess each representative to identify areas of improvement and respond quickly. With that same focus, you’ll celebrate success to reinforce your teams’ efforts and accomplishments. You’ll work closely with your team members to deliver outstanding sales results, maintain operational excellence, and uphold compliance elements from our corporate accounts. Your attention to detail will help you identify issues, devise action plans, and seek opportunities to refine and grow our business. As you cultivate working relationships with our COO, General Manager, Procurement Manager, DSD Manager, Operations Manager, our Board of Directors, and corporate members, you’ll gather the directives to build success across your territory, track overall market performance, and create effective action plans to meet your goals.
Requirements::
- 2 or more years of experience in consultative sales and sales management experience in an operationally-sound retail environment or in fields involving consumer technology, applications, and content.
- Experience managing multiple Sales Representatives
- Well-versed in all aspects of retail store operations as they relate to sales.
- Is customer obsessed.
- Highly effective at coaching, training, and developing a sales team and achieving results through clear performance expectations and accountability.
- Understands key performance indicators and financial/operational performance data and has the proven ability to translate into action plans.
- Established reputation for honest/ethical leadership and leading by example.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Well-developed ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.).

- Must have high school diploma; BA or BS preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and compliant driving record.
Manage 7-9 Sales Reps, 9 Merchandising Professionals, and approximately 600 corporate accounts and the daily tasks associated within each. Our Division Manager should have a natural ability to lead team members, instill confidence in the people around them, and multitask a variety of functions and responsibilities with proper prioritization. During your day, you’ll put your assessment skills to work, monitoring everything from sales behaviors to product knowledge while handling the inquiries & concerns from the field, resolving them with our internal departments to completion. You’ll maintain grace under pressure with an honest attitude and an informal, yet professional, style that sets the stage to get the job done in a manner consistent with our company’s key tenets and guiding principles. You’ll also give immediate and useful feedback, communicating in a way that makes people eager to collaborate with you. This position also demands that you are diligent about tracking numbers and efficient & productive with the tools available to you—making clear sense of the applicable data and utilizing it to make your next action plan. You will need to be a subject matter expert on all aspects of sales, store operations, and customer relationship management. With clear and definitive objectives, you will continuously identify performance gaps for each team member and successfully implement a plan to close those gaps.

Physical Requirements::
- 10-12 store visits each day within assigned territory
- Most days will have prolonged walking/standing
