Green Bean Coffee seeks a self-motivated and detail-oriented General Manager with a cheerful “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic to join its team at our San Francisco Airport location.
Job Overview:
The General Manager is an energetic, upbeat, and detail-oriented Retail Manager. A successful Manager must cultivate a positive work environment for all Green Beans Coffee Team Members and translate a genuinely amazing experience for each and every customer through their team of local Team Leaders and Team members. The General Manager must always embrace and deploy Green Beans Coffee standards, policies, and procedures, and cultivate a philosophy of exceeding customers’ expectations and delivering results. This is a full-time salaried position, which requires approximately 45-50 hours per week with the occasional need to work additional hours as the business demands. The schedule is flexible and will include some evenings and weekends and extended hours, the majority of the schedule is focused on key business periods.
General Manager Reports to Area Manager
Specific responsibilities include:
- Create and communicate a sense of purpose or vision for self, team consistent with Whisk and Bowl goals and mission. Consistently achieve store goals. Development of store performance goals.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in Market Knowledge, positive influence on others, and team building and leadership.
- Effective daily management of store operations. Planning and operation of successful and motivational team meetings. Continually assess employee performance and provide input where needed. Provide formal performance evaluation.
- Effectively manage change, demonstrate managerial courage and the ability to manage conflict.
- Training and development of store management teams.
- Routinely inspects and advises team members of quality product control.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree highly desired
- 4-5 years of Coffee/Sales/Operations experience
- Knowledge of business drivers within Coffee/Retail Industry
- Documented track record of store performance
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately assess employee performance and provide coaching and counseling
- Experienced in all aspects of Performance Plans
- Management of operating budgets

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
