About the Position:
Our Marketing Representative develops relationships and deep understandings of client needs. and works cross functionally to ensure the Company meets those needs effectively and efficiently. This position performs multiple functions in relation to implementing a marketing and sales plan which meets the goals and objectives of the Company. This involves reaching current and potential customers to market and sell through phone calls, correspondence, client location visits, attendance at conferences, etc. The position requires two (2) years experience in marketing, sales, a comparable position or an equivalent of eduction and experience.
Sales and Marketing Tasks Include:
- Assess the needs of both current and perspective customers
- Implement a sales action plan based on the goals and objectives of management
- Utilize a database to establish educational campaigns for the Company’s services
- Track leads and implement follow-up schedules
- Work with a contractor to develop infographics or Company materials
- Prepare and present written quotes for services
- Prepare and submit activity reports
- Notify customers of analytical results
- Assist in promotional strategies
- Develop and implement Trade Show booths/programs
- Represent the Company at meetings, conferences and events
Required Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to plan ahead, schedule events and meet deadlines
- Understanding of marketing concepts
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and a CRM software program
- Ability to work pro-actively and independently
- Must have valid drivers license.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Prefer degree in related field or specific experience of same
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing/sales or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
