Green Lake Jewelry Works offers one-of-a-kind custom bridal jewelry and expert restoration, all within a collaborative studio that's home to some of the most talented designers and metalsmiths in the country. This role serves as receptionist on the busier weekend days, and as administrative support for other departments during the week. Our receptionist is the first person our clients meet. They set the mood for a creative experience, and identify the most fitting artist with whom visitors should meet, all while maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere front-of-house. This is an entry level position with our company. We are seeking an individual to work in our Bellevue Studio. We are open to either a full time or part time employee. Exact hourly rate of pay will be dependent on schedule and level of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome each and every visitor to the studio, identify their purpose for shopping, and arrange for the appropriate jewelry designer or restoration specialist to meet.
Help to maintain social distancing and sanitation standards in studio, according to county and state regulations throughout COVID crisis.
Offer refreshments using the espresso machine, fridges, and wine chiller.
Maintain in-store media, from digital displays to overhead music.
Maintain clean and organized display cases and counter tops.
Answer phones with professionalism and diligently relay messages to team members.
Replenish chillers and coffee bar supplies; liaise with housekeeping for supply orders.
Complete final transactions by running credit cards and organizing supporting paperwork.
Shipping and receiving coordination: Prepare shipment labels with customer's name and destination, handling instructions, etc., and apply to crates and cartons to conform to standard instructions, procedures, and customer requirements.
Support Design Team and other department with projects as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
MUST have weekend and evening availability
Customer service employment background preferred
Warm, upbeat energy and good work ethic
Ability to handle high pace with ease and confidence
Multitasking and ability to be interrupted are a must
Barista experience is ideal
Must be comfortable with moderate activity, much of the shift will be spent on your feet moving throughout the studio
