Green Mountain Support Services Inc., an innovative agency committed to exceptional, person-centered supports is searching for a Direct Support Professional in the Sutton/Morrisville area.
DSPs aid clients in their own home/programs and in the community. DSPs are positive role models and help identify social, economic, recreational, and educational services and work with a team to offer help and guidance ensuring the best support is offered to the participant.
This position is 8 hrs. per week, working with a female in their late 20’s.
Candidates should have the following skills and abilities: enjoy shopping, interest in video games or anime, enjoy going for walks and being active. Candidates should also have a knowledge of budgeting skills and be comfortable in community settings to promote new connections. Responsibilities will also include assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living. Candidates should be good role models, patient, kind and familiar with person-centered practices.
Days would include Mondays and Wednesdays.
Extensive background checks will be completed before hire. A valid drivers’ license and high school diploma or equivalent is required.
