What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Green Power Energy?
The Project Coordinator at our Annandale, NJ office will report directly to Green Power Energy’s Director of Operations. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for applying for and obtaining approvals for solar and solar storage projects. Salary range depending on experience, $45k-52k annually
Responsibilities:
- Complete industry paperwork associated with NJ and PA town permit applications
- Check and handle the correspondence of emails in company-wide email inbox
- Answer incoming calls and transfer calls to colleagues accordingly
- Communicate with our customers via phone and email in a professional manner
- Provide data entry support and maintain the company’s CRM as needed
- Actively track and prioritize project tasks needed to be completed on a weekly and daily basis
- Cross-train within the operations department to be able to assist as needed
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training documents as required
- Prepare job folders for install crews
- Enter in SREC meter readings monthly in PJMGATS portal
- Call customers to keep them informed of project progress and updates as needed
- Run task reports daily to determine which tasks need prioritizing
- Coordinate with field staff to obtain photos needed for State post-installation paperwork
- Compile and send out installation manuals to customers for all completed projects
- Prepare docusign envelopes for customer's signature
- Prepare and organize mail and parcels daily as needed
- Provide support to the entire Operations Team and Associate requests as needed
- Report to Annandale, NJ office daily
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Assist training other employees as needed
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be motivated and ready to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact with others effectively within the team environment
- Ability to take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects
- Creative thinker with the ability to make decisions and execute effectively
- Ability to work within a team environment and provide back-up support to other Project Coordinators as needed

- Systematic approach in carrying out assignments, including appropriate follow-up
