Responsibilities
- Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings as needed
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Update and maintain office policies, procedures and filing
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
Requirements
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
- High School degree required, some college a plus
- 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience a PLUS (associate degree in Business Administration preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
