Position Logistics: For the right candidate, this position can have hybrid flexibility if within a commutable distance to one of regional campus locations (Tulsa, OK | Shelby, NC | Schofield, WI). There may be frequent travel to Schofield, WI for training and occassional required in-person meetings.
Your Opportunity:
As the Benefits Supervisor at Greenheck Group, you will be responsible for supporting the Benefits Manager and leading the Benefits Coordinators in benefit plan administration, execution and adherence to corporate plan provisions and governmental regulations. You will provide customer service support to team members both directly and indirectly through our HR business partners. You will serve as Greenheck Group’s subject matter expert in benefits to optimize existing processes, leading the adoption of new internal and external opportunities to maximize efficiencies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Directly supervise benefits team members, including supporting, coaching and training
- Provide service, assistance and counseling to team members and managers with benefits, health and welfare issues, including but not limited to QLE’s, COBRA< plan document interpretation, new hire education, retirement and health savings accounts
- Benefits administration, handling escalation matters, provide guidance to team members and management regarding benefits and leave questions
- Alongside Benefits Manager, manage open enrollment processes to include coordination of system configuration, system testing, conducting benefits meetings
- Provide oversight of leave and ADA program
- Maintain updated knowledge of federal, state and local laws/regulations to ensure company policies and plan administration is in compliance
- Serves as contact for claim issues and plan document questions, manages resolution of participant and plan-level errors, identifies and implements process improvements and efficiencies
- Assist Benefits Manager with ensuring that plans are optimally aligned with company’s continued goal of being an Employer of Choice in all locations
- Analyzes and assists in the development of policies and procedures concerning benefit plans
- Partner in cross functional projects
- Ensures legal compliance with HIPAA, ACA, and other applicable benefit laws while completing annual 5500’s, 1095 forms, PCORI filings.
- Provides direct oversight of 401k plan including annual audit. Closely monitors plan activity and works with financial institution to assure accurate contributions, vesting, distributions, and benefits.
Somethings we think you should know:
Due to the nature of this role’s responsibilities, the Benefits Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position and will reside in our Schofield, WI campus. Some accommodations can be made on an occasional, case by case basis.- Hours will be between 7AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday to meet the needs of the business.
What you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or a combination of education and experience will be considered
- 7 years of experience working in benefits
- 3 years of experience directly leading a team
- CEBS or CBP certification is a plus
- Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and carrier interfaces. Must be able to learn new systems as needed. Cloud based implementation experience highly desirable.
