How You Will Contribute:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Contact prospective clients and current clients by phone and email to uncover, cultivate, and close opportunities, and ask for referrals
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with prospective clients
- Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving individual/team sales goals
- Attend industry trade shows as needed
- Present capabilities demonstrations via webinar or in person if qualified
- Uncover leads via independent research, industry publications, and third-party tools for identifying new leads
- Manage and expand existing university client relationships
- Collaborate with and assist Commercial peers as needed
- Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate
For Consideration You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or training
- Unparalleled work ethic, self-motivation, and competitiveness
- Positive and persistent attitude, enthusiasm and ability to establish effective relationships
- Experience managing a complex technical sale with a 6-24 month sales cycle
- Good judgment, high integrity, and trustworthy
- Exceptional time management skills
