PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
GREENSCAPE LAND DESIGN, INC. - GSX DIVISION
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, schedule and direct subcontractors, personnel and resources toward providing quality, cost-effective service to clients. Support Operations manager with subcontractor management, service verification and lead generation, as needed.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS
· Partner with Operations Managers and clients to perform snow and landscape quality audits to review landscape quality, task execution, identification of maintenance needs, and recommendation of enhancement opportunities.
· Understand contract specifications and ensure they are met to maintain customer complete satisfaction.
· Hands-on-training and support of subcontractors, and Greenscape crew member including proper operation of equipment, and safety and quality standards.
· Provide production planning, oversight, and guidance to providers and team members on client jobsites to drive customer satisfaction with timely and effective service.
· Visit job sites on a regular basis observing organization of work, identifying, and resolving training issues, and taking necessary actions to ensure quality.
· Manage subcontractors within a specific geography
· Assist sales process in measurements, inspections, and site meeting for new opportunities
· Assist in hands on snow and landscape operations
· Availability to work overnight and extended hours when seasonally appropriate
· Travel regionally
· Work with subcontractors to solve service issues
· Communication with clients and internal staff on the status of property conditions and service issues
· Assist in subcontractor procurement and training
· Validate service through technology and onsite inspections
· Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, field offices, and customer work sites.
· Demonstrate ongoing leadership of a safety-oriented culture and hold all team members accountable for following safety procedures.
· Educate and train subcontractors on a variety of safety topics.
SECONDARY ELEMENTS
· Perform other related duties as assigned or as required
REQUIREMENTS
· 2-4 years landscape experience.
· 2 years prior supervisor experience.
· Working knowledge of plant material and horticultural practices.
· Well organized and detail oriented.
· Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, highly motivated, self-driven, and detail oriented.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong leadership and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
· The ability to learn industry programs quickly.
· Clean and professional appearance.
· Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese/English) a plus, but not required.
· Drivers License with clean driving history
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
