Overview:

We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and customer service, with a focus on upselling services. This role involves working closely with service technicians and customers to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Duties:

- Transmit accurate information between customers and service technicians
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and service appointments
- Upsell additional services or products to customers based on their vehicle's needs
- Assist with auto service management tasks to optimize workflow efficiency
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs

Requirements:

- Previous experience in automotive diagnostics or service writing preferred

-Knowledge/Experience of GM/Dodge/Ford LS/LT/Hemi/Coyote a plus
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively
- Experience in cash handling and processing payments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
