Dental Receptionist
Office Hours: Monday -Thursday 10:00AM - 5:00PM
Duties:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Managing patient records and updating information as necessary
- Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims
- Collecting payments and providing receipts to patients
- Assisting with billing and financial inquiries
- Coordinating with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately manage patient records
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
