The Healthcare Research Analyst will work with a collaborative team to provide evidence-based consulting services with a focus on evaluating the impact of healthcare design on patient/staff outcomes & key performance indicators. Thought leadership will focus on the areas of biostatistics, post-occupancy evaluation, and clinical operations. This position will report to the Healthcare Director of Research & Insights and will collaborate with the Research & Insights team and advisory consultants to support project design teams and clients providing biostatistical insights, project/problem definition, strategic planning services, and post-occupancy evaluation.
The person filling this position will:
- Contribute analytical support to the Research & Insights team, advisory group, and healthcare market.
- Collaboratively develop solutions to advance projects while working independently with guidance.
- Be eager to learn and innovate.
- Anticipate job expectations while performing technical tasks requiring the application of standard techniques and knowledge.
- Strengthen university and grant-funded partnerships through multidisciplinary collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client leadership teams to provide support with analysis and research of innovative solutions consistent with contemporary trends for the respective sector.
- Present team-based work at conferences, publish manuscripts.
- Perform quantitative analyses to include biostatistics, demographics, market share, and financial analysis, including working with multiple public and proprietary databases.
- Support problem solving with clinical, administrative, and support staff.
- Serve as a resource to architects and interior designers for respective projects.
- Provide support in areas including process and performance improvement, process and project management, market analysis, and business development; as well as other project-related support as needed.
- Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with project teams.
- Promote the firm’s principles of ‘design excellence’ through data analysis and innovative solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Accredited Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare, or related field with a strong analytical curriculum.
- 5 years of experience, including business and/or consulting experience.
- Healthcare analytics experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding artificial intelligence and big data analysis are preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Python.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as independently with guidance.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, meet deadlines at the expected quality.
