This position is 100% remote capable for the foreseeable future, but training will take place in-person at Greyhound's Dallas corporate office.

Position Description

The Credit Card Analyst conducts analysis and review of financial transactions being disputed by a card holder or issuing bank. In this role, you will be able to determine fraudulent transactions that can be disputed and won using source systems, back end reconciliation systems, banking, payment gateway, fraud screening, and POS systems. You will also be able to make decisions based on limited or fluid fraudulent data elements in fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze credit card activity to identify disputes to challenge and prioritize activity to research and resolve. Identify fraudulent transactions while making decision of which transactions are invalid/valid. Provide necessary and supporting documentation to resolve dispute in favor of merchant. Compose correspondence to card brands, processors and internal departments depending on case.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for new technology, new products and new procedures within the sales and credit accounting areas to maximize the cost benefit of additional controls vs. assumed risk to the company.
  • Assist in implementation plans for new fraud screening and payment systems and changes to current systems. Responsible for providing assistance to all parties where necessary
  • Research train to stay current with the domestic and international chargeback rules and regulations to ensure accurate and appropriate responses to disputes while adhering to the individual card brand polices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, OR 5 years of business, financial/ accounting and/or credit card fraud experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • 2 years of accounting or credit card fraud experience preferred
  • Knowledge of credit card processes and procedures preferred
  • E-commerce credit card fraud experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, Power Point
