Position: Quality Data Specialist
Department: Griffin Faculty Physicians Primary Care
Location: Primary Care
Reports To: Director of Primary Care
Job Responsibilities:
· Serves as the champion for quality metrics in the outpatient setting
· Work with various insurance payers from MSSP and Medicare Advantage plans to upload patient data to ensure quality gaps closure for optimized organizational incentive payments
· Collaborate with Griffin’s Population Health Team to complete the annual GPRO audit
· Collaborate with Griffin Faculty Physician’s Nurse Quality Manager to implement/improve workflows regarding quality gap closure in outpatient practices
· Participate in monthly orientation to educate new staff and providers on quality metrics and incentive program requirements
· Collaborate with outpatient practice managers and call center outreach team to conduct patient outreach and decrease quality metrics gaps
· Attend weekly/monthly meetings with Griffin’s quality team, Value Care Alliance and insurance payers
Job Requirements:
· Strong analytical skills
· Possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively both independently and with an interdisciplinary team
· Ability to effectively manage time, information, and meet deadlines
· Good communication/collaboration skills
· Advanced Excel skills and experience
· 2-5 years clinical experience
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, health sciences, public health or related field preferred.
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Previous clinical experience/certification preferred
