Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor student progress, emphasizing academic achievement.
Coordinate statewide and school-wide assessments.
Provide instructional leadership and support to staff through coaching, training, and evaluation.
Facilitate professional development opportunities.
Stay informed about educational developments and contribute to program innovation.
Works with staff to systematically identify and respond to at risk students; makes referrals to appropriate community agencies.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
CDE License in Special Education generalist preferred
Track record of improving student achievement.
Administrative Services Credential preferred.
Five or more years of successful educational experience.
Required Skills:
Commitment to student success.
Knowledge of curriculum development.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
