Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor student progress, emphasizing academic achievement.

  • Coordinate statewide and school-wide assessments.

  • Provide instructional leadership and support to staff through coaching, training, and evaluation.

  • Facilitate professional development opportunities.

  • Stay informed about educational developments and contribute to program innovation.

  • Works with staff to systematically identify and respond to at risk students; makes referrals to appropriate community agencies. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • CDE License in Special Education generalist preferred

  • Track record of improving student achievement.

  • Administrative Services Credential preferred.

  • Five or more years of successful educational experience.

Required Skills:

  • Commitment to student success.

  • Knowledge of curriculum development.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
