Financial Controller

Grizzly Broadband, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Ravalli County Electric Cooperative (R.E.C.), provides reliable internet, computer services, and technology solutions for homes and businesses. The Controller provides financial expertise, advice, and management support and helps align organizational performance with current and future financial needs.

General Duties:

· Performs daily and month-end accounting functions.

· Maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

· Prepares financial and statistical information.

· Prepares and participates in external financial and compliance audits.

· Maintains accounting controls, policies, and procedures.

· Ensures appropriate application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Desired Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is preferred.

· A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience.

· Experience in the broadband industry is preferred but not required.

· Advanced experience using Microsoft Office products.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
