Role: Refurbishment Technician
Contract Start: March 15th 2024
Contract Duration: This is a temporary position, expected to commence on and continue until the return of our team member from paternity leave. The anticipated duration of this contract is approximately 3 months, but please note that this is subject to change based on the employee's paternity leave plans
Duties include:
Keeping 11” refurbishment pipeline/process moving along
- Opening and processing incoming return shipments from the field
- Sorting units based on hardware version to best of your ability (V0, V1.1, V.1.2)
- Prepare devices for test rack using both physical and software repairs.
- Putting devices on test rack and assigning them using Google Sheets
- Determining pass/fails of units based on state they are in at the end of the test period and notating results in the same spreadsheet.
- Backstocking single failed re-racks, archiving double failed re-racks, and boxing passes and adding to available deployable inventory using Inflow software.
- Maintaining organization, safety, and cleanliness of work and storage areas
Knowledge of:
- Basic hand tools and enjoys working hands-on tasks
- Some experience with soldering is preferred
- Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc)
- Organized, methodical, do-er, documentation
Ability to:
- Able to lift and move boxes of ~50 lbs
- Stooping, bending, lifting
