Accounting/Financial Analyst

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a true team player to join our finance team. They will play an integral role in the efficient and timely processing of all key finance administration including payroll, A/P and commission processing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer bi-weekly payroll for two subsidiaries
• Own the complete travel/expense submittal process including addressing questions and assisting employees.
• Calculate and process monthly commissions.
• Assist with audits and other special finance projects as needed.
• Handle 401k with John Hancock
• Handle FSA with Paychex for Corporate
• Great Plains data entry of Bank Transactions in 12 Banks
• Record Revenue in Great Plains
• Create Franchise orders and convert to invoices for Inventory
• Process credit card payment for Inventory Invoices and Royalty Invoices
• Process all EFT’s, ACH’s and Wires in Bank (for approx. 10 a week)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Prior experience with ERP systems – ideally Great Plains.
• 4 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable.
• Experience with Concur or similar travel/expense processing is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience processing payroll and accounts payable.
• Experience with payroll platforms such as ADP, Paychex or Paycor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods at a workstation
• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to view data on a computer terminal, extensive reading at a distance that is close to the eyes.
• Finger dexterity is needed to type on a keyboard frequently
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects from place to place.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
