The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources. Additionally, this position is also responsible for providing office administrative support. This position requires someone with an excellent work ethic and very detailed oriented.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educating employees on and enforcing company policies
- Maintain company’s calendar and schedule meetings as directed
- Assist in full hiring process of employees including recruitment, interviews, references, background checks and candidate tracking
- Onboarding new employees and setting up new hires with access to employee portals
- Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed
- Assisting with compliance audits
- Act as liaison between employees and insurance providers
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
- Track benefits plans including worker’s compensation
- Prepare materials and help organize performance reviews
- Present any new or additional training materials to employees
- Under leadership of the HR director, be a vital source of human resources information answering questions employees may have
- Support any other special projects the HR director needs assistance with
The requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- B.S. Degree in Human Resources/Management related field.
- Three to five years Human Resources experience or related preferred
- Experience in hospitality industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management skills
- Positive and personal demeaner
- Attentive listener
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Protects organization’s value by keeping confidential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be a team player that understands and promotes companies core values
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
