- Assume a leadership role in the identification and building of significant long-term (owner-direct) relationships; this includes actively seeking out new relationships and service opportunities.
- Produce detailed estimates and proposals.
- Be responsible for managing Fire Alarm projects, including scheduling labor, managing costs, field labor, sub-contractors, and safety to assure project is completed on-time and under budget.
- Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawings and specifications.
- Promoting safety – enforcing safe work practices. (SBO s / Tool Box Talks)
- Cross-sell fire alarm projects & inspections and monitoring services
- Work with the Contract department to secure fire protection service contracts
- Maintain a high level of service and quality upon which our business has been built.
- Meet or exceed annual agreed upon sales numbers and margins.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- Valid Driver s License
- NICET Certification is preferred.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma required; related degree preferred.
- 5 years of Project Management/leadership, design, and sales preferred.
- Must be able to apply innovative and effective sales and project management techniques to maximize performance.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Coordination/Supervision of field personnel
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional building environments with moderate to high noise levels, and specific safety requirements.
- Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.
