Overview:

The Site Manager will oversee and direct all plant operations for maintenance and repair, site safety, performance and profitability, and the overall manufacturing process in an industry to ensure optimized production. The Site Manager will coordinate and collaborate with the General Manager, the Finance Manager and the Department Managers for the smooth operation of plant activities. The Site Manager will oversee the Services Department, the Logistics Department, and the CNC Machining and Welding Departments. The Site Manager will be responsible for planning, logistics and execution of the day-to-day operations of the plant to meet production goal, on time delivery, quality, and shipping to the customers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision
• Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
• Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and providing strategic solutions
• Manage day to day business while balancing the Cost management for P&L, customer and vendor service, and risk management.
• Works on meeting production goals and shipping on time deliveries based on delivery schedule and customer needs
• Order fulfillment surveillance, supporting sales, inventory surveillance and warehouse management, order processing, material management, customer interface, build strong customer/supplier relationships.
• Motivate, train and lead warehouse and production team.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Participate in branch production, management, quality & service meetings.
• Interface with key suppliers to develop & maintain good relationships.
• Collaborates with department managers to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values
• Serve as liaison between department managers and general manager to ensure all operational, administrative and compliance functions within the facility are being executed in accordance with ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations.
• Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technologies
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Education

• Have knowledge of renewable energy, manufacturing, machining, fabricating, distribution industry, current market, customers, suppliers, and competitors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate contracts, solid presentation skills.
• 4 yrs. business experience.
• Ability to call on upper management.
• Analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in an engineering or industrial field.
• Language Skills:
  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer and branch needs.
