Our Technology Support team combines VIP-level customer service and technical expertise to deliver exceptional support for every GS1 US employee. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have access to the latest tech to troubleshoot issues effectively and innovate and improve processes. While this role will utilize current cloud-based and hybrid solutions, it also will offer training and certification opportunities for candidates to grow in the role and GS1 US.
Who you are:
- You prioritize customer service, excellent communication, and building relationships within your team and the organization.
- You have hands-on experience in a technical or end-user support role.
- You are proficient in cloud-based end-user support functions, such as Office 365 and Azure Cloud Services, and have experience setting up resources in a hybrid environment.
- You have previous experience documenting SOPs for systems and support.
- You are a problem solver; you enjoy finding the root cause of why an issue occurred.
What you will do:
- With your current knowledge base, you will set up user licenses and user accounts in Office 355 and Azure Cloud.
- Manage workflow coming into the IT Support team via JIRA and Helpdesk Mailbox and facilitate the completion of tasks.
- Use your critical thinking skills to optimize support functions directly impacting GS1 US annual operating goals.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and consultants, ensuring they have access to hardware and software to complete their day-to-day jobs.
