HR Supervisor

VMLY&R seeks a HR Supervisor, People Data to manage high volumes of data in the HR Information System, currently ADP. This position is responsible for reviewing and auditing all changes to employee records, running ad hoc reports, and ensuring the accuracy of employee data. They will also collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll processing and assist with special projects.

In this role you will…

  • Drive efficiency and employee satisfaction through automation, process excellence, and innovation within our systems. Continues to analyze and assess effectiveness of operational procedures and recommend areas for improvement to streamline processes.
  • Maintain HR, Financial and other databases/systems to ensure accurate employee information.
  • First reviewer for employment changes processed within payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and any status changes in employee records (to include pay, title, name, address, and others). Ensure that applicable back-up documentation, approvals and record retention policies as followed and preserved.
  • Back-up for data entry within payroll systems if necessary, due to volume.
  • Constantly review, audit, and analyze payroll data for all agencies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Partner with People Data Manager to perform semi-monthly payroll reconciliations, including earnings, wages and overall employment and personal data.
  • Run HR and Finance reports, conducting analysis and audits on HR data, HR programs, and recommend corrective action for any discrepancies.
  • Build and foster relationships with internal business partners.
  • Assist with payroll-related inquiries and escalate complex issues.
  • Ad hoc projects to include mass data uploads and data integrations.
  • Maintain organizational data structure. Troubleshoot and report technical issues within our systems as they arise.
  • Other duties as assigned

You have…

  • Three years of HR experience with exposure in HRIS or HR Operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn new systems and processes quickly. Key systems include SAP, ADP WFN/EV5, JDE, Aura and Active Directory.
  • Resourceful and can multitask and adapt to changing priorities to meet demands.
  • Intermediate Excel skills to include filters, sorting, advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, charts/graphs.
  • Must be very detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Must make data integrity a top priority while navigating complex data projects.
  • Can easily maneuver from big picture to detail and back quickly.
  • Anticipate questions, think ahead and plan for contingencies.
  • Have superb communication skills and the ability to frame problems and solutions quickly and concisely for a variety of audiences.
  • Have a strong customer service mentality and maintain confidentiality and deliver with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, pitch in when needed, and function as a dependable member of the team.
  • Overall HR knowledge to include benefits, payroll, and any state-specific requirements.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
