Apply on LinkedIn's EasyApply here.What we are looking for: We are looking for a self-starter, roll-up-your-sleeves, passionate Director of Finance to join a high-growth GovTech company. You will report to the Vice President of Finance, working closely with the executive leadership team and other business units’ Finance teams, and will be responsible for owning and leading a variety of finance activities.  You will have a particular focus on budgeting, forecasting, decision support, operational reporting and KPIs.Responsibilities:Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.Develop and maintain complex financial and decision-making models to provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for executive leadershipat both the business unit and corporate level.Support the strategic planning process from a Finance perspective by owrking closely with executive leadership to ensure maor initiatives support long term financial goals.Finance liaison to Corporate Finance and close interaction with CFO and other GTY personnel. Exposure to certain public company responsibilities over time if interested.Drive the development of operational reporting and KPIs for executive leadership and GTY. Provide insights into drivers of financial trends, as well as identification of risks and opportunities.Partner with executive leadership to prepare Board materials, earnings release metrics, presentations, and quarterly guidance.Work closely with finance teams across GTY business units to build financial infrastructure to support GTY current and future financial business requirements. Determine system solutions to streamline reporting and automate internal processes across GTY.Lead strategic projects and support executive leadership on ad hoc financial and operational analysis.Over time, hire, manage, and mentor additional team members.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required. MBA helpful, but not required.A CPA or CFA designation is helpful but not required.10 years of progressive experience in FP&A – experience with SaaS and/or technology companies preferred.Experience in an early stage or startup environment is helpful but not required.Must be an Excel ninja.Expert knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and reporting.Must be exceptionally detail oriented and conscientious with respect to work product.Strong analytical / quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence.Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with all levels of the organization.Demonstrate thought leadership and manage relationships with executive partners.Experience in an early stage or startup environment is helpful but not required.Experience in a SaaS business is helpful but not required.Benefits:At CityBase, we’ve created an inviting workspace that fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation.
