GU is a family-owned market-leading global sports nutrition brand, and we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team!
SUMMARY OF ROLE
This cross-functional role is responsible for leading digital marketing strategies and campaigns across ecommerce channels, gathering and analyzing data, and optimizing for success. The ideal candidate understands how digital advertising strategies work together to drive consumer behavior through the full funnel, from consideration to loyalty. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact as a key member of a small but mighty team of enthusiastic marketers. This is a hybrid position with weekly in-office work required.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will:
- In collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership, oversee digital marketing initiatives on the GU website and partner retail ecommerce platforms including Fleet Feet, Amazon, REI, and Target. Utilize consumer insights to concept audience-specific campaigns and manage digital asset creation across retail channels to drive acquisition and revenue growth.
- In partnership with digital marketing agency, plan and lead the creation of full-funnel advertising campaigns primarily via search, display, and paid social channels. Work with agency to AB test creative, messaging, and targeting strategies.
- In partnership with Amazon agency, update and improve brand and product content with an eye to increased conversion.
- Create dashboards and report regularly on GU website and email campaign (marketing, lifecycle, triggers) performance. Regularly analyze partner ecommerce performance data and recommend improvements.
- Lead and project manage GU website optimizations and improvements, serving as primary point of contact for web development agency.
- Propose and manage AB testing on GU site and in email to improve performance.

- Are an experienced digital marketer with a keen understanding of how campaigns work across channels to drive success.
- Have 5 years of experience marketing for an ecommerce brand or CPG brand online.
- Have solid understanding of ecommerce best practices including SEO and customer journeys.
- Have proven experience creating successful digital advertising campaigns, setting up AB tests, analyzing results, and iterating toward target KPIs.
- Love diving into the data and pulling actionable insights from complex reports.
- BA in marketing or related field preferred.
- Expertise with full Microsoft suite, proficiency with Adobe Creative preferred.
- Have a passion for learning, collaborating, and growing the GU brand. You’re comfortable taking initiative and working with minimal oversight on a small team.
