A Roving Maintenance Lead's primary role is to travel to assigned sites within the given region and perform maintenance tasks as requested by the Regional Maintenance Supervisors and/or the Director of Maintenance.
They are to support the Community Managers of their assigned sites by ensuring site safety and completion of required property maintenance necessary to maintain excellent curb appeal and the overall appearance and quality of the property/ies. This will include prioritizing and processing work orders which may include both urgent and routine maintenance of property and apartment units. This position is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work is done in compliance with OSHA regulations, and Guardian policies and procedures. A Maintenance Lead is also responsible for coordinating with other property staff and vendors to provide outstanding customer service to the residents, provide well-timed and proactive property maintenance, safeguard the good financial health and stability of the property, and complete all required paperwork and reports on time.
Schedule: 40 hours / week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Travel: By nature, the Roving Maintenance Lead position is a traveling position and therefore requires a high degree of flexibility with scheduling and traveling to/from various locations, as well as a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license and insurance.
Compensation: $35.00 - $37.00 / hour DOE mileage reimbursement.

Must have an eye for detail, as well as be highly communicative and professional at all times. Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in property maintenance, as well as prior experience performing inspections (previous REAC inspection experience, strongly preferred!).
