The Role
Guidant Financial is looking for a remote Senior Human Resources Generalist. This role works directly with our HR leader and managers, helping shape our team’s experience as we continue to grow, and ultimately makes a positive difference for our small business clients. This is an exciting, hands-on role that helps deliver on annual people plans to achieve an outstanding work experience, culture, and business goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with company leaders to build engaged and high performing teams, with support on performance management, progressive discipline, other employee relations issues and change management
- Be a project manager for HR initiatives such as annual performance evaluation process, organizational development, employee training programs, culture activities, etc.
- Perform HR reporting and administration including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and unemployment claims using trends and insights to postively impact our people and business decisions
- Implement and update annual compensation programs; conducting salary surveys and analyzing compensation, and monitoring performance evaluation program and revise as necessary
- Research, draft, and implement HR policies & programs
- Follow the latest HR trends and best practices to update our processes, handbook and utilize project management skills to manage small- and large-scale people initiatives
Additional Functions
- Serve as advisor on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
- Back-up on employee benefits administrator on benefit administration to include enrollment forms, plan questions, claims resolution, and open enrollment and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness
- Assist our recruiting team with talent acquisition strategy and the onboarding experience
- Present information at company and team meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
