What You Will Do:
- Manage the SOC program in accordance with Contract requirements, the management plan, and work schedule
- Coordinate all SOC program task order and all operational activities
- Ensure that the necessary controls for work are appropriately supplied using program plans, program oversight, and reporting
- Manage program’s dedicated resources to assure the work under the task order is accomplished consistent with technical, cost, and schedule requirements as well as prudent programmatic and technical risk mitigation
- Prepare and present written communications, plans, reports, briefings, and briefing materials
- Participate in meetings and discussions as requested by the COR and Government Task Managers
- Establish, document, and manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and SOC activities
- Identify problems and risks that could adversely impact performance, cost and/or delivery schedule in relation to JSOC, , CSS, external federal agencies, or the agency
- Gather and provide multiple levels of metrics for management tier review showing functionality of the services and value add to JSOC, CSS, external federal agencies, and agency .
- Produce quarterly relevant cyber security metrics that allow the SOC to provide Executive Leadership with metrics, including, but not limited to, performance as compared to SLAs, possible savings that could occur with improvements, accomplishments, and challenges.
- Manage teams within the SOC location as well as those representing the SOC at customer locations
- Ensure the SOC services and the managed security service comply with the DOJ ISO 20000-1 and 27001 requirements and performance targets
What You Will Need:
- At least five years of experience managing large federal security projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Eight or more years of cybersecurity experience.
- With three or more years of security operations management experience.
- At least one year in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; Master's Degree preferred
- Top Secret Clearance
- Must be able to work on client site
