The Therapist is an exempt position responsible for providing therapeutic care to Hub clients, including counseling or crisis intervention. The therapist will also be responsible for the development of an assessment and treatment plan to drive the course of clinical treatment.

GCJFCS offers an opportunity to gain field experience and direct client contact hours for both Bachelor’s and Master’s level practicum and internships. For license-eligible candidates, we offer both individual and group supervision from a Board-Certified qualified supervisor to fulfill state requirements at no cost to the employee.

What You Will Do

- Develop assessments and treatment plans to Hub clients requiring clinical care.
- Provide counseling services to clients needing support.
- Implement Baker Acts, risk assessments, and safety plans as needed.
- Facilitate routine case staffing with other clinical network providers.
- Ensure documentation is entered into the electronic health record in accordance agency requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with clinical providers in the community.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- $58,000 annual salary

- Master’s degree in a clinical license eligible field required
- Must have a current Florida License in the mental health professional field as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Therapist (LMHT)
- Must have a valid drivers' license and auto insurance coverage.
